Abstract

The method put forward in the paper can be used to measure not only the large dynamic deformation, but the small dynamic deformation as well. If the photoelastic material is taken as the test specimen, the isocromate and displacement patterns are obtained at the same time under the same load. So the principal stresses are separated.
