Abstract
Studies about the Coherence of Knowledge Based Systems (KBSs) are very often carried out in parallel with the acquisition process (TEIRESIAS, ONCONCIN, CHECK). Now we must also consider doing coherence studies after the acquisition process and before using the knowledge : such studies take place during the validation process of a KBS. They have to be specified by contract between the vendor-author and the customer-user and contribute to the receipt process.
