We give a hands-on demonstration of integrating a the 920nm fiber-laser into a two-photon microscope that is optimized for the excitation and detection of green fluorescent proteins, typically used in neuroscience applications. We demonstrate that image quality can be improved by adjusting the laser's GDD compensation settings to raise the intensity and improve image contrast.
