Abstract
In recent years due to the mechanical performance of the single column pier of the bridge the lack of adequate understanding, single column pier bridge lateral overturning safety accident frequency, based on the in-depth analysis of single column pier bridge transverse overturning failure mechanism on the basis of, combined with a project example, through calculation and analysis, evaluation of the structure of the resistive overturning security, it is concluded that safety evaluation should strictly control the counteracting force and Angle of beam body.
