Abstract
High frequency zoom CCD camera, magnification adjustable microscope and other devices were used to visualize the carbon deposition of injector. The image processing system and image comprehensive analysis system were constructed based on MATLAB. The Canny algorithm edge detection. Regionprops function and Viscircles function are used to get the area of the hole circle in the image processing system. The area proportion and thickness of carbon deposit are used as indicators in the image comprehensive analysis system. When the area of carbon deposit is greater than 20%, the injector needs to be cleaned. The four groups of fuel injectors were photographed and measured. It was found that the area proportion of carbon deposition was between 16 ~ 30%, and the thickness of carbon deposition was between 0.02 ~ 0.04 after working for a period of time.
