Abstract
The frequency diverse array (FDA) radar has range-dependent property, which makes it able to suppress interference in the range dimension. Thus, the beamforming method of FDA should take interference in range-angle dimension into consideration, which will produce higher complexity than phased array and unstable beampattern. In this paper, based on Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE) criterion, a robust adaptive beamforming method of FDA with sidelobe canceller technique is proposed. Compared with method based Maximum Signal Noise Ratio (MSNR) criterion, the proposed method shows better stability and similar two-dimensional anti-jamming performance to MSNR criterion. Simulations indicate the feasibility and validity of the method.
