Abstract
Based on the fault tree analysis method of fuzzy set theory and expert evaluation, the failure evaluation of the micro-flow control valve which used in hydrogen supply system without failure statistics was carried out. The qualitative and quantitative analysis of the failure of the micro-flow control valve was completed, sealing performance is the key factor that affect the safe and stable operation of the valve. The failure probability of each basic event was obtained, the maximum failure probability was 9.718x10-3. Compared the sealing performance of four different commonly used packing materials, such as UPE, graphite, PEEK and PTFE, it was concluded that UPE still maintained good sealing performance and low friction torque under ultra-high pressure. It is an ideal packing material for micro-flow control valve of hydrogen supply system.
