Abstract
In this paper, Tb3+/Dy3+ doped SiO2-B2O3-YF3-CaO system glass was prepared by high temperature melting method. The structure and physical properties of the glass were analyzed by XRD and transmissivity spectrum. The luminescence characteristics of glass samples were characterized by emission spectrum. X-ray diffraction analysis shows that the glass is a disordered amorphous substance. The average transmittance of the glass samples is about 81%. At 378 nm excitation, the best luminous intensity of SBCY series glass samples was obtained at 15% YF3 concentration. Based on this study, the optimal substrate doping concentration of SBCY series glass is further determined, which provides a potential reference value for further improving the luminescence characteristics of borosilicate glass.
