Abstract
Based on the advantages of high stiffness, high accuracy and excellent dynamics of parallel mechanisms (PMs), the 3 degrees of freedom (DOF) translational PMs is introduced into the firefighting of high-bay warehouse in this paper, and use the screw theory to discuss from the perspective of DOF of branches to carry out type synthesis so as to obtain a variety of 3T PMs. In order to put into practical application, this paper selects 3-CRP PM as the research object, and conducts 3D model simulations and workspace calculation, which proves that this device can realize 3D dynamic firefighting, providing a new solution for the firefighting of high-bay warehouses.
