Abstract
Traditional dormitory management methods (such as manual signature, IC card, etc.) have a large workload and high statistical complexity, while the accuracy of fingerprint readers is very high, which is conducive to eliminating fraud, reducing costs, and improving dormitory management efficiency. This design adopts C language design, including three main functions of searching, adding and deleting fingerprints, while other modules cooperate with each other and complement each other. The main control component of the dormitory management system design based on fingerprint recognition is STC89C52 single-chip microcomputer, and the design content includes hardware circuit design and software system implementation. The hardware circuit design part contains each module, the system software part introduces the designed software environment, and finally the system simulation and hardware verification are carried out, corresponding to the main modules of the hardware circuit and equipped with a software design flow chart to realize the interconnection between the single-chip microcomputer and each module
