Abstract
The selection of mining method is a comprehensive judgment with multi-objective and multi-hierarchy. The traditional selection methods are not scientific enough for traditional decision-making. Here, based on the application of the combined analytic hierarchy process and technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (AHP-TOPSIS) on various possible mining method. A model of fuzzy hierarchy analysis was built up to evaluate and determine the best mining method. Our results proved that the AHP-TOPSIS is a practical, reliable and scientific method for the determination of mining method.
