Abstract
There are two types of binary Z-complementary pairs (ZCPs), Type-I ZCPs and Type-II ones. Existing known Z-optimal Type-II Odd-Length binary ZCPs (OB-ZCPs) have only for very limited lengths. In order to obtain Z-optimal non-periodic Type-II OB-ZCPs with more lengths, we present a new construction of Type-II OB-ZCPs of lengths 2α 10β 26γ −3 (where α, β, γ are non-negative integers, α≥1 and α + β + γ ≥ 2 ) by using Turyn’s construction and deletion function. The proposed systematic construction can obtain not only Z-optimal Type-II nonperiodic OB-ZCPs but also optimal ones. The obtained type-II non-periodic OB-ZCPs provide more flexible choices for applications.
