Abstract
A new approach is proposed for the description of a diffusional motion of rodlike macromolecules in semidilute solution. The approach is based on the model " polymer chain in the array of obstacles" and is alternative to a reptation theory. The result obtained within the model adopted (model of statistical reorientations) agree well with available data of real experiments as well as with computer experiments which were performed in the course of the present study.
