Abstract
Generally all existing information processing methods can be subdivided into coherent and incoherent methods. If the phase information of the signal is not used in the processing, the processing should be considered incoherent. This article is devoted to the consideration of one of the most widespread principles of incoherent optical processing system construction: the use of a Bragg cell to input information into the optical processing system. The equivalent processing network is suggested; the possibility of its statistical analysis is shown, and the potential precision characteristics of incoherent optical signal processing algorithms are considered.
