Abstract
Optimal design of the parameters in dispersion compensation fibers (DCFs) is studied in this paper. The mathematics model of the DCFs with three-claddings is founded. Then the intrinsic function is derived. The dispersion is obtained numerically by computer simulation. Last the effects of different parameters on dispersion are discussed and analyzed in detail.
