Abstract
In this paper, the schemes which perform blind MUD, also called blind interference suppression, based on independent component analysis (ICA) is proposed to be applied to GPS receivers. The ICA model is utilized mainly in blind separation of unknown source signals from their linear mixtures. In CDMA navigation application only the source signals which correspond to the coefficients of the ICA expansion are of interest. Simulation shows the method is more effective than those usually used in GPS/Galileo and, thus, it has the potential of increasing the acquisition speed.
