Abstract
The main aim of this paper is to describe the process of assembling the GSF3S detectors of thoron particles. Its purpose is also to present the ways of adaptation of the assembly technology of the above mentioned detector to the conditions which allow for the detection of particles in the area of optical radiation. The main issues illustrated in the report regard the method of protecting detector parts which are outside the active surface from light which generates photo-electric current constituting background that alters the signal.
