Abstract
In 2015 Exail launched on the marketplace the first gravimeter based on quantum manipulation of laser-cooled atoms. Phase-locked Raman beams open an 87Rb atom interferometer sensitive to the vertical acceleration. Thorough technology developments like frequency-doubled telecom lasers and micro-optic benches had brought the autonomy and robustness necessary for field-deployment. We will present a 3-years measurement campaign on Mt Etna, Sicily, an active volcano. We will furthermore demonstrate the reproducible performances of 10^-9 g resolution after < 2h measurement time (< 40 min on a quiet site) confirmed on all 15 built units. On-going research evaluates systematic effects to 10^-9 g or better. Future projects will bring our quantum gravimeters to moving platforms.
