New journals
A new SPIE journal entitled SPIE Reviews launched on the SPIE Digital Library in January 2010. SPIE Reviews is a fully open-access journal publishing
invited review articles covering the state of the art of emerging and rapidly evolving optics and photonics technologies and their applications.
Later in 2010, SPIE plans to launch another new journal entitled Photonics for Energy and the Environment (PhEE). PhEE
will publish papers focusing on research and development in sustainable energy sources, energy-efficient technologies, and applications for the environment using
optics and photonics.
