Current research centers around building performance simulation and spectral energy applications at the University of Central Florida - School of Modeling, Simulation and Training. He authored and taught courses on computer science, programming, and applied software topics, and mentored capstone students at Full Sail University for 7 years. He cofounded Cacti Council, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving critical and creative thinking in education through computer science and its related disciplines. His applied industry programming career spans Department of Defense simulation, independent and commercial game development, power diagnostics for the energy sector, eDiscovery, mobile applications, and tools.
