Profile Summary

Markus Kantner has received the M. Sc. degree in physics in 2013 from the Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany, and the Doctoral degree in 2018 from the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Technical University Berlin, Germany. He joined the Weierstrass Institute for Applied Analysis and Stochastics, Berlin, in 2013, where he is currently working as a Postdoctoral Researcher. His research interests include modeling and numerical simulation of opto-electronic devices (semiconductor lasers, quantum light sources), non-equilibrium thermodynamics and nonlinear dynamics.
