Highly fluorescent colloidal silver nanoparticles were synthesized by using DNA as a stabilising agent.
The absorption spectrum of silver nanoparticles showed the appearance of a broad surface plasmon
resonance peak centered at 420nm at low and higher concentration of DNA. The photo luminescence
study shows emission of silver nanoparticles is getting enhanced as concentration of DNA increases.
