Dr. Bing Yu is an Associate Professor in Biomedical Engineering at Marquette University and Medical College of Wisconsin. His prior experiences include Duke University as a postdoc, Senior Research Scientist, and Research Assistant Professor between 2005-2012, and as a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the University of Akron between 2012-2016. Dr. Yu received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2005. His current research focuses on optical imaging and spectroscopy for cancer detection and treatment assessment, photobiomodulation (PBM) therapy, and optical sensors. Dr. Yu is an ASLMS Fellow, a Senior member of SPIE, and a member of Optica (OSA) and BMES.
