Abstract
This paper firstly improves the SEIR state transition model of virus transmission to include close contacts in the transmission process. awareness impact factors for infectious diseases were constructed by studying the volume of newspaper articles during the New Crown epidemic, as well as the number of confirmed cases and the number of close contacts per day. The simulation analysis proved that the number of newspaper articles in the official media, the number of people diagnosed on the same day and the number of close contacts were all conducive to awareness of prevention and control and effective in preventing and controlling the spread of the epidemic. The findings of this paper provide a reference for decision-making in preventing and responding to public health emergencies.
