Abstract
As a support component between spacecraft and antenna, the accuracy of cable-strut tensegrity mast is crucial to the task. In order to analyze the influence of manufacturing tolerance on its end accuracy, a static model of the mast is established by the force density method. The effects of strut tolerance and cable preload error on end position and pointing accuracy are analyzed based on the Monte Carlo method. Furthermore, the accuracy difference when the input error obeys uniform and normal distribution is further compared. The numerical results show that compared with the preload error, the strut length error has a more pronounced influence on the end accuracy.
