Abstract
The construction of special railway line connected the port is an important part to get through the "last mile" and realize the seamless and efficient operation of intermodal transport. However, the quantity, layout and function of the construction of special railway lines in China are still cannot meet the needs of efficient collection and distribution of cargo in the port. Therefore, using theoretical and case analysis, this study focuses on the improvement of the overall efficiency of the intermodal transport network, and proposes the construction and operation schemes of intermodal hub facilities, in consideration of the layout of railway in the port, the function of special railway lines in the port and the layout scheme of railway station in marshalling yard of port.
