Abstract
People have found plenty of measures to better manage and cure the neuropathic pain which many people have been surfing from all over the world. According to the pain mechanism, the spinal cord stimulation is new-created treatment which is more effective than the traditional therapeutic ones with medicine. The spinal cord stimulation is a low-intensity electrical pulse on large myelinated Aβ fibers and aimed to relieve the pain based on gate control theory. However, the success rate of SCS limited and the sample of patients who experience SCS is small. In this case, it is hard for people to figure out the mechanism of SCS and make an improvement for neuropathic pain. Therefore, people are urged to investigate the effects of SCS among the subjective and objective evaluation methods. This paper aims to collect the information about the evaluation for effects of SCS and make a comparison. This may be easy for people better understand the effect of SCS and give a suggestion for the future improvement.
