Abstract

Diabetes is a common metabolic disease that was discovered very early in ancient China. Traditional Chinese Medical Science (TCM) has a rich experience in treating diabetes. In response to its characteristics of being difficult to cure, traditional Chinese medicine has given the method of combining medicine and food into dishes, so as to avoid the mental state decline caused by taking medicine all year round. The author discusses the pattern of Chinese medicine dietary prescriptions for type 2 diabetes based on statistical methods and evaluates the effect of Chinese medicine dietary prescriptions on the quality of survival of type 2 diabetic patients, aiming to provide a reference for clinical treatment. In this paper, clustering analysis is performed on the medicinal dietary prescriptions to uncover strongly associated medicine groups and medicinal dietary combinations. Chinese dietary recipes for type 2 diabetes mellitus focus on tonifying the blood and strengthening the spleen and stomach, promoting blood circulation, heat, and dampness. The results can offer assistance in clinical treatment.
