Abstract
In this paper, polyurea material as the main research object, the design of polyurea/ceramic/polyurea sandwich structure composite target plate, using ANSYS-Autodyn software to simulate the process of projectile penetration of the target plate, from the simulation of the damage degree of the target plate, bullet speed time curve and target stress distribution diagram of the target plate bulletproof performance was analyzed. The results show that the composite target plate with the structure of 3mm polyurea /3mm ceramic /2mm polyurea /3mm ceramic /1mm polyurea has the best bulletproof performance, and meets the requirements of the second level protection in GA141-2010 "Standard for Police Body Armor".
