Abstract
At present, issues such as high fuel cost, heavy environmental contamination, and high energy loss are found in the hydraulic system which uses fuel engines to drive the hydraulic pump in the stacking and picking forklift trucks, especially in high-level stacking and picking forklift trucks. In order to cope with the above problems, this paper achieves the goal of energy-conservative design by implementing an energy-efficient design for the hydraulic system of forklift trucks, i.e., adopting a servo drive system in place of a fuel engine to drive the hydraulic pump, and designing a reasonable accumulator to recover energy when the forklift truck unloads the goods.
