Abstract
In order to study the influence of operating parameters on the state of ballast bed during the operation of dynamic track stabilizer, and get the optimal operating parameters. The lateral resistance was used as the evaluation indicators, carried out an experimental study on lateral resistance of the ballast bed under operation at dynamic track stabilizer with different frequencies, speeds and pressures. The experiment was carried out by WD-320k dynamic track stabilizer and lateral resistance test device. Through single-variable method of parameters, the effects of frequency, speed and pressure on the lateral resistance were studied. The results of the study show that: Operation at different operating parameters of dynamic track stabilizer has significant differences in the impact on the ballast bed. The frequency has the greatest impact on the operation efficiency. The lateral resistance growth rate after operation at different frequencies is 35%-72%,of which 33 Hz is the optimal operating frequency. The impact of speed on the operation efficiency less than frequency. The lateral resistance growth rate after operation at different speeds is 9%-49%, of which 0.4km/h is the optimal operating speed. However, based on the efficiency of dynamic track stabilizer, it is recommended to use 0.8 km/h. The impact of pressure on the operation efficiency is the smallest. The lateral resistance growth rate after operation at different pressures is 35%- 72%. The pressure can be set according to the settlement of the track we hope during operation without worrying about excessive influence on lateral resistance.
