Abstract
At the nucleus of the hybrid propulsion system lies the generator, a key determinant in ensuring optimal UAV performance. This study explores solutions for challenges such as limited range and insufficient payload capacity encountered by UAVs employing conventional power units in the UAV industry. Through simulation and ground testing, we propose a specialized permanent magnet synchronous motor design tailored for 25kg hybrid UAVs.
