Abstract

As a form of geographical combination of production layout, economic circle is a new spatial form of urbanization, a brand new governance scale to implement the national strategy of regional coordinated development, and an important bearing space to promote regional coordinated development. Therefore, it is crucial to study how land use is changing dynamically and its EcosystemServiceValue (ESV) response from the economic circle scale for regional land use planning and guaranteeing regional ecological security. Taking the Jiaodong Economic Circle as an example, based on the land use remote sensing monitoring data of five periods in Jiaodong Economic Circle from 2000 to 2020, an estimation model was established to assess ESV using the equivalent factor coefficient correction method, and sensitivity analysis, spatial autocorrelation were employed to explore the characteristics of spatial and temporal variations of ESV in Jiaodong Economic Circle. The results show that: from 2000 to 2020, the land use type of Jiaodong Economic Circle is dominated by cropland, accounting for more than 62% of the total area, and the expansion of construction land area is obvious, and the main sources of diversion are cropland and grassland; the ESV of Jiaodong Economic Circle as a whole shows a decreasing and then an increasing trend, with a total of 39.58 billion yuan during the 20-year period; the ESV of cultivated land, forest land and grassland continued to decrease, and the ESV of water area increased significantly; the ESV of Jiaodong Economic Circle " south is low while the north is high, high all around, low in the middle" was the spatial pattern that was visible, and there was a significant spatial clustering effect.
