Abstract
Optimizing the key parameters of the range extender has an important impact on improving the fuel economy and reducing the emissions of the range extender electric vehicle. Firstly, GT-Power is used to establish a one-dimensional performance simulation model of the engine, and the working conditions of the engine are determined according to the ISG motor, which is combined with the study of the effect of the compression ratio on the likelihood of detonation to improve the thermal efficiency of the engine by increasing the compression ratio. Through the joint simulation of Isight and GT-Power, the NSGA-II genetic algorithm was applied to optimize the ignition advance angle and air-fuel ratio corresponding to the optimized compression ratio, with fuel consumption rate and emission minimization as the optimization objectives.
