Abstract
In this paper, the RV-20E reducer was first modeled in 3D using SolidWorks. Then, modal analysis of the entire RV-20E reducer was conducted using ANSYS software. Subsequently, the meshing frequencies and rotational frequencies of the involute gears, cycloidal wheels, and pin gears were calculated. By comparing the modal simulation results with the formula calculation results, it was demonstrated that the RV reducer does not produce resonance under normal operating conditions. This research holds significant reference value for the structural design of RV reducers.
