Abstract
Pt-Ni-Au nano catalysts have a broad application prospect in the field of fuel cell catalytic materials. In this study, chloroplatinic acid, nickel nitrate hexahydrate and chloroauric acid were used as metal precursors to prepare Pt3NiAux (x=0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 3) nano alloys by the sol-gel method, and their crystal structure, surface morphology and phase composition were analyzed. The results indicate that there are two main phases in Pt-Ni-Au alloy nanomaterials, namely (Au) and (Au, Pt, Ni). The addition of Au has a stabilizing effect on Pt-Ni nano particles, but it will also increase the size of nano particles. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare Pt-Ni-Au nanostructures with excellent performance by accurately controlling of Au doping amount.
