Abstract
In order to better build a harmonious and low-carbon social environment, the red and green light timing of the intersection is optimized. In this paper, a traffic light control system based on fuzzy control is designed. Specifically, the maximum queue length of the current green light phase of the intersection and the traffic flow of the next green light passing phase are taken as inputs to the fuzzy controller. The fuzzy control rule base is set according to the experience of relevant experts and traffic controllers to output the green light extension schedule for the current green light phase.
