Abstract
Based on the application prospect of carbon capture technology and the requirements of International Shipping Greenhouse Gas emission reduction, the development and application trend of carbon capture technology are summarized in the paper. For the onboard carbon capture system (OCCS) using chemical absorption method, this paper analyzes the main key technologies involved in the application of OCCS, such as absorbent performance, safety design equipment optimization arrangement and liquid CO2 storage from the perspective of working principle and design arrangement, so as to provide reference for the practical application of onboard carbon capture technology.
