Abstract
The digital transformation of road and bridge maintenance management, as well as the research and application of intelligent detection technology and equipment, are key research directions for promoting the development of digital transportation construction. The good mobility, safety, and economy of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) make it has good application value in bridge inspection, which can effectively make-up for the drawbacks of low efficiency, high cost, great danger, and blind area of traditional inspection methods. This paper summarizes and analyzes the advantages of UAV bridge inspection, and introduces key issues such as route planning, image acquisition, 3D reconstruction, defect identification and localization and visualization, and inspection management. Design and develop a bridge inspection management system based on drones, build a bridge intelligent inspection solution with full coverage, high efficiency, high precision and visualization, and provide a reference for the innovative application of unmanned intelligent equipment in highway inspection and maintenance.
