Abstract
Parametric dependences of absoption and luminescence spectra are calculated for extended electron states in a 3-layer dielectric globule model. It is shown that in metaloproteins polarization field can significantly influence the location of spectrum bands. A comparison of the theoretical results with the experimentally observed quantities for plastocyanine has given a qualitatively good agreement. New absorption and luminescence bands are predicted. 1.
