A 100 GHz microwave interferometer have been used to measure line average electron density in ALVAND IIC tokamak [1].As density is one of the crucial parameters for fusion experiments,a very flexible electronic device has been developed, the output of which can be used simultaneously for analog representation on an oscilloscope and an 8 bit digital output for computer usage.
