Abstract
The optical systems of VEGA spacelabs, each consisting of a wide-angle lens telescope and a small-angle mirror telescope, were adjusted on Earth before launching in such a way that they projected pictures of co let Halley onto COD matrix detectors not only in high quality but also appearing in the same angular position. The alignment and testing methods used in this project are described and some pictures delivered by the system are shown.
