Antonin Gilles received his PhD in signal and image processing from the National Institute of Applied Sciences of Rennes, France, in 2016. He is now working as a senior researcher on Digital Holography at the Institute of Research and Technology b<>com. His main research interests include real-time hologram synthesis, holographic data compression and holographic augmented-reality near-eye displays. He is involved in the ISO/IEC JTC1/SC29/WG1 (JPEG) standardization committee.
