The composite electrode composed of transition metal elements has been paid much attention in electrochemical energy storage due to its complementary characteristics and high theoretical capacity. In this paper, the applications of various composite electrodes with transition metal elements as important components in improving performance are introduced, and the development prospects and problems to be solved have been prospected.
