The novel corona virus named COVID-19 is highly infectious and droplets are its main media in the air. This paper studied the existence time of the virus by focusing on the existence time of droplets. This paper presents the physical analysis which is studied by setting mathematical model and the numerical calculation of the existence time of droplets in air, and discusses the relationship between the existence time of droplets and some environmental factors like the relative humidity and temperature. And it gets the conclusions that for a given initial radius, the droplet existence time increases with increasing ambient relative humidity and decreases with increasing temperature, and that the effect of temperature on the existence time of water droplets is less than the effect of relative humidity, and the on the basis of which make prospects of this study further. We can therefore propose some precautions.
