The construction of high-rise residential buildings is the result of economic development and scientific and technological progress. Its emergence and development is due to many factors, such as the concentration of urban populations, the lack of land resources, the increased demands of the people for the quality of housing and the need for urban modernization. At the same time, the quality of life and environmental problems of high-end residential residents are also becoming increasingly prominent. In order to make people's living environment more comfortable, this paper conducts research and analysis on the current situation of residents' lives, summarizes the existing problems at this stage, discusses the application of Internet of Things technology to solve many problems related to intelligent buildings, and demonstrates the impact of intelligence on livable buildings through examples, and draws the necessity of intelligent ecological livable buildings.
