The aviation jet engine is the main infrared radiation source of aircraft ,and also the main target for the detection and attack of infrared precision guided weapon systems. The study of spectral radiation characteristics of jet engine exhaust plume is of great significance for the detection, early warning and identification. This paper introduces a test method for the spectral radiance of aero-engine exhaust plume, and analyzes the uncertainty of the measurement results. The test results show that this method can effectively obtain the infrared spectral radiance of the exhaust plume, and the measurement uncertainty is 19.54%. It can effectively obtain the infrared spectrum radiation data of the engine exhaust plume, and provide test parameter support for the infrared spectrum radiation characteristics of the jet engine, the aircraft infrared stealth design, the anti-stealth detection, the infrared stealth technology research and the infrared seeker design.
Infrared smoke is mainly used for shielding, blind, deception and recognition on the battlefield. The traditional shelter smoke is mainly placed in the friendly positions or positions between the friendly positions and enemy positions, to reduce the enemy observation post investigative capacity. The passive interference capability of the smoke depends on the infrared extinction ability of the smoke. The infrared transmittance test is an objective and accurate representation of the extinction ability of the smoke. In this paper, a method for testing the spectral transmittance of infrared smoke interference is introduced. The uncertainty of the measurement results is analyzed. The results show that this method can effectively obtain the spectral transmittance of the infrared smoke and uncertainty of the measurement is 7.16%, which can be effective for the smoke detection, smoke composition analysis, screening effect evaluation to provide test parameters support.
Imaging spectrometer based on acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF) is widely used in hyperspectral remote sensing at present, however, recently experiment results has shown that changes of environment temperature would cause driving frequencies corresponding different spectral position, result in rising of spectral curve measurement error . In order to make clear changes of AOTF spectral tuning curve under the different environment temperatures, it is necessary to develop an environmental temperature controlled calibration device, and perform plenty spectral calibration under different environment. According to the experiment results, temperature correction is considered in the spectral calibration result. The results show that the spectral characteristics of AOTF imaging spectrometer would be changed by the difference of environmental temperatures. Therefore uncertainty of spectral calibration would be decreased by temperature parameter added into the spectrum of calibration results. Therefore, the outfield measurement error would be decreased and precision of imaging spectrometer spectral measurement would be improved according to this discovery.
