Develop and conduct training covering all aspects of optical and illumination systems design and analysis, utilizing a wide array of optical software, including ZEMAX, ASAP, APEX and IntelliWave. Course include :
•Introductory Optical Design, including First order optics and aberration theory
•Advanced Optical System Design Using ZEMAX
•Tolerancing and Alignment Analysis of Optical Systems
•Stray Light and Illumination Analysis Using ZEMAX
•Advanced Illumination Analysis Using ASAP
•Ghost Analysis of Imaging Systems
•Interferometric Analysis Using IntelliWave
•Introduction to APEX Optical Software
Develop customized software necessary to expand and enhance optical softawre for specialized applications, including tolerancing, optical testing, and specialized surface modeling.
As Adjunct Professor, College of Optical Sciences, University of Ariizona, lecture on optical design theory, optical design tools, polarization device modeling and tolerance analysis to graduate and undergraduate optical students. Lectures were integrated into several courses at the College.
