Dr. Samantha Keil, a postdoctoral fellow with the Iliff lab at the University of Washington, earned her PhD from University of Illinois Chicago. Her interest in glial neuroscience began with her thesis work focused on the role oligodendrocyte connexin knockout has on glia within the murine central nervous system. In the Iliff lab, Samantha’s projects examine how chronic sleep disruption impacts glial physiology in normal and pathological disease states.
