As to low accuracy and modeling complexity of current welding joint fatigue analysis method, the welding joints of an independent SUV body are taken as the research object in this paper, and the road load spectrum is collected, and the loads of connection points between the chassis and body are obtained by load virtual iteration. The results show that the welding joint fatigue analysis based on force and stress can predict the locations of the welding joint cracks of the test vehicle accurately, the fatigue analysis cycle of the welding joints can be shortened. The improved test vehicle can pass the verification of durability test field successfully.
